FAQs

Browse answers to the most frequently asked questions by Campus Partners:

How do I create my school or classroom profile?

Please sign into the app as the admin of your school’s campus account. Go to the “Profile” tab and tap “Edit” to make changes to your school’s name, logo and a short description. You can proceed from there to create class-wide or school-wide challenges.

How do I invite others to also be admins on the account?

Email [email protected] to confirm your admin email so we can locate your school and then share a list of the emails you want added as account admins

How do I best invite, onboard, and engage students across different classes or grade levels?

We recommend you read the teacher’s guide that is linked in the ‘resources’ section at the top of this page. That document has a “Swipe file” of resources, communications, and lesson plan ideas

What's the best way to launch a competition with my students?

You can group your students by teams or classrooms and create a different challenge for each. That way, you can get the data for each of these challenges, vizualise all of them on your data dashboard, and see which groups are the most active.

How can I edit or delete a challenge I created?

Unfortunately, there is no way currently available to edit or delete a challenge once it has created. It will end with the date range you set expires. Upon expiration, you can create a new challenge. You can create a new free account and create a new challenge from the new account. It is on our product roadmap to soon allow you to edit or delete your challenge.

How should I use the litterati educational program?

We have created this educational program to engage today’s students, through increasing environmental awareness and allowing them to drive action and generate change in their local community. The program is aligned with 7 of the 17 united nations sustainable development goals and you can use litterati for a field study project and inviting your students to analyse the litter data they have collected with the app.

Do you have an open data policy?

We have currently opened up our database as we wanted to ensure our policy serves everyone as many members of the community, including schools that use the platform, wish to keep their data private. If you are a research institution or citizen scientist who’s looking for a subset of data, you can simply visit our OPEN DATA PORTAL. It has now become easy for anyone interested in helping the greater good through data to do so through our open data initiative.

My question wasn't answered. How can I reach you?

You can reach out to us at [email protected] or send us a dm on facebook, instagram, or twitter. We typically respond within 1 – 2 business days.
