The Dutch are a model everyone can admire.

If you’ve never head of the Environmental NGO GoClean, you have now. Led by the powerful force of Marloes Heebing, Joyce Bosveld, and Peggy Blaauw, GoClean is a Dutch non-profit organization committed to creating a cleaner planet. In April 2019, they collaborated with the cities of Zevanaar, Duiven and Arnhem to mobilize volunteers and collect litter data using the Litterati platform. The insights and patterns gathered from this data provided solutions in education, local infrastructure and cleaning procedures – strategies that are being used to reduce costs while improving their efforts. So far, 50,000 pieces have been mapped and identified, and this is only the beginning.
